ai weiwei: sunflower seeds at the tate modern
I really don’t get what’s happening in ai weiwei ’s mind but the result is just -Brilliant! He has filled the museum’s hall with millions of life-size (yeah,right) sunflowers which are made of porcelain. This installation encourages visitors to touch and walk on the carpet of tiny replicates. Oh I definitely want to walk on these things…

I saw this on flickr (via ozgur) and loved the idea.This makes me “now why the heck did I not think of that?!” I’m going to buy a few hundred for dirt cheap, slap a “bagel-a-go-go” label on them and sell them for a couple of quid a time. I bet it would work with doughnuts too!

Simple ideas are still the best
